Book Launch Success! SHUSH!
On February 15, 2025, I celebrated two major milestones: the launch of my book, Shush!, and my birthday! What an unforgettable moment surrounded by my family, friends, and community, despite the inclement weather in Ontario.
A little about my book Shush! hashtag#shushbook: It is a reflective guide to silencing limiting beliefs through stories, affirmations, and journaling, written for everyone and anyone, especially immigrant professionals navigating growth and identity.
I was truly honoured to have two East Gwillimbury councillors and my chief launcher ‘Jide Falaki officially unveil my book. Even more special was receiving a congratulatory scroll from the Mayor recognizing this achievement.
Why did I write Shush!? Too many people, professionals, the immigrant community, especially professional immigrant women, are held back by limiting beliefs that tell them they are not enough, that they don’t belong, or that success is beyond their reach. This book is here to change that narrative.
Shush! is more than a guide for overcoming limiting beliefs it is also a refresher for those who have already done the work. A reminder to stay empowered, focused, and continuously grow into your best self.
